Three exciting items of news to report this month, firstly Jo has started work on her latest commission. It is based on a painting by a cancer patient at The Kent & Canterbury Hospital. Jo is going to adapt the design to make a 1.2 metre mosaic which when finished will be on display in the hospital's waiting room.
Item number two is the news that Jo has an exhibition of her work opening soon in Canterbury. It will be held at the Nevill Gallery from Saturday 14 October until Thursday 26 October. This is going to be a large exhibition with many of Jo's mosaics on display. Further details of the gallery can be found on the Nevill Gallery's own web site.
We've saved the most exciting piece of news until last. In the Spring of 2007 Jo will be opening a shop in The Old High Street in Folkestone, Kent. Visitors to the shop will be able to buy mosaics, mosaic kits, materials and equipment, in fact, everything you need to make your own mosaics.
